William R. (Bill) King

Bill King, born and raised in Niagara-on-the-Lake, obtained his BA and his law degree at Queens University and was called to the Bar in 1976.  He returned to Niagara-on-the-Lake where he opened his practice as a sole practitioner in January of 1977, focusing on Real Estate and Wills and Estates.

Bill amalgamated his busy practice with Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP in January of 2007  to provide his clients with the resources of a larger long-established firm.  The full range of services offered by Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP are available through the office in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  Bill’s extensive real estate and estate experience is a valuable addition to our practice.

Bill and his wife, Sandra, who has been his office manager for 26 years, have raised three children in Niagara-on-the-Lake and in 2006 had their first grandchild.

Bill has been actively involved over the years on many community projects.  He was very involved in the Lions Club for 15 years, including a term as President, and he was a charter member of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary Club.  He has also served on many community organizations and boards including The United Way and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital Board.  He has also donated his legal services to various community organizations and churches.
