Andrew J. Larmand
Andrew J. Larmand graduated from the University of Windsor Faculty
of Law in 2003 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2004. During
his articling period, Andrew served as a judicial research clerk
for the Office of the Chief Justice where he was assigned to various
judges of the Superior Court of Justice.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton
University in 1988, Andrew worked as a manager for a regional health
unit, as a forest fire fighter and a media spokesperson for the
Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. Prior to law school Andrew
prosecuted provincial offences under the Tobacco Control Act and
participated in efforts to lobby governments for more effective
tobacco control at the municipal, provincial and federal levels.
Andrew practices primarily in general litigation and is a member
of The Advocates' Society, the Ontario Bar Association and the Welland
County Law Association.
Andrew has always been active in community service and has held
various volunteer positions in Rotary and the Canadian Red Cross
Society. He is especially interested in issues relating to youth
and leadership.
Andrew is supported in life by his wife, Teryl, and their children,
Bethany, Joel, Kennan and Cameron. As a family they are active in
their church community and busy with various activities around the
Niagara Region.
