Rebecca E. Peters

Becky Peters obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from McMaster University in 1993. Prior to attending Law School, Becky worked in the legal profession in Niagara Falls for five years, where she gained experience in many areas of the law including real estate, and corporate and commercial. During this time she also received a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She graduated from University of Windsor Law School in 2002 and was called to the Bar in 2003.

Becky completed her Articles at Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP before commencing her practice specializing in residential real estate, landlord and tenant matters, as well as municipal and land use and planning issues, including zoning, minor variance and severance applications.

Becky is a member of the Welland County Law Association and the Ontario Bar Association. She also serves the Advisory Committee for the Law Clerk Program of Niagara College.

Having grown up in the Niagara Region, Becky moved from Fonthill to Niagara Falls where she resides with her husband, Jeff Peters, a local accountant, and their young family. Becky enjoys reading, watching movies, camping and travelling.
