Rebecca E. Peters
Rebecca (Becky) Peters obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from
McMaster University
in 1993. Prior to attending law
school, Becky worked
in the legal profession in Niagara Falls
for 5 years, working for general practitioners, where she gained
experience in many areas of the law including Real Estate,
and Corporate and Commercial. During this time she also received
a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She graduated from
University of Windsor Law School in 2002 and was called to the Bar in 2003.
Becky completed her articles at Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP and then
joined the firm as an associate. She has a general practice with
an emphasis on Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Landlord
and Tenant matters, as well as Municipal and Land Use and Planning
issues. Becky is a member of the Welland
County Law Association and the Ontario Bar Association. She also
enjoys involvement in charitable projects within the community.
Having grown up in the Niagara Region, Becky moved to Niagara
Falls from Fonthill
when she purchased a home with her husband while
in her last year of law school. Becky is a television and
movie buff, who also enjoys camping and fishing, travelling and gardening.
