Raymond
L. Steele
When Ray Steele was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1970, he won
the honour of being appointed as the sole
Law Clerk to the Chief Justice of Ontario. Upon completion of the
term, he went on to practice law in
Georgetown
and later Toronto, where
he developed his expertise in Business Law. In 1988, Ray came to
Niagara to join his law-school friend, Jim
Sissons, as a partner in Martin Sheppard
Fraser LLP.
Ray's practice is restricted entirely to Business Law. He is experienced
in the organization, operation, acquisition, and sale of all types
of business, from sole proprietorships to large corporations.
His strong business background is valued by international clients
operating in Ontario
and by Niagara clients seeking business opportunities
both domestic and foreign. Always concerned with on-going legal
and business education, Ray recently completed the Canadian Institute
of Chartered Accountants in-depth tax course.
When not practising law, Ray is an avid golfer and excellent curler.
